What is the best way to learn play guitar?

Author: admin  //  Category: Learn To Play Guitar

Sorry If my english is not very well..

I have been trying to learn play guitar and so far I am not successful.. I’ve been trying for a long time now but I’m just not sure if what I am doing is even right… I know a few chords but I think my technique is pretty bad.

The truth of the matter is that there is no way to instantly learn how to play the guitar. While there are methods that can definitely help you along and to make the learning curve a little easier to take, remember that you can’t expect to pick it up in one day.

When you are looking to play the guitar, remember that it takes more than just one day of practice. The famous guitar players out there didn’t learn their skills in just one day; there was a lot of time and effort and discipline that was put into it.

In fact, most of the famous guitarists had been playing guitar for years before they made it big. Even when you get very good at playing guitar, there will always be something new to learn.

Start by looking at your guitar and learning all the different parts of it and what they do. Start with the easy chords and until you get good, stay away from the sharp chords, the minor chords and the power chords.

Practice one chord at a time. But be sure that before practicing the next chord, you have already mastered the previous chord. Each chord should be played properly with proper hand placement on the strings. If it doesn’t sound good then you are not doing it right.

Playing a certain chord over and over again is the best thing that you can do. After that, you can start playing easy songs with your guitar. Find songs that have the chords that you have already learned and mastered.

Once you master each chord you will build confidence within yourself. When you learn an easy song and master it, you will further build your confidence in your playing. By doing this, it will also further encourage you to want to keep learning and practicing. It’s very fulfilling to be able to play your first song after putting some time and effort into it.

The key to learning how to the play the guitar lies with having realistic expectations and in building off of knowledge that you already know. There are a lot of tutorials out there that can really help you out.

If you want to learn to play the guitar easily, then the first step is to find quality instruction. It doesn’t matter in what form. You can take guitar lessons from someone who knows how to play. You can buy DVD guitar instructions. You can even find guitar lessons on the internet.

If you want to learn to play the guitar easily, then an online guitar course may be your best bet. You can learn at your own pace. You don’t have to leave your house to go anywhere. Compared to lessons, the cost is very minimal. They provide all the quality training you need to take you from a novice to skilled.

I highly recommend taking a look at http://guitar-insight.blogspot.com for 100% FREE guitar lessons on line… you can learn how to play the guitar and master your basic techniques a lot easier than you would if you were trying to teach yourself.

Can 2 people (one with an electric guitar & one with a acoustic guitar) take guitar lessons at the same time?

My Grandma and I want to take guitar lessons together (eaisier for transportation) but she has an acoustic guitar and I have an electric.

sure its very possible, most lessons are private, but i think there are lessons that arnt

the teacher will probably teach you individually asking either you or your grandma to play something 1 at a time

or if not the sound of an electric can be changed to accommodate for the acoustic sound

How can you play good blues guitar?

Author: admin  //  Category: Blues Guitar

I’m having trouble getting the blues out of my guitar so to speak. I want to be able to play like Stevie Ray Vaughn or Jack White. I know the blues scale but for some reason it never sounds right please help! Some theory would be nice and please dont put blues comes from the soul.. Thank you

You know, the standard stuff. You gotta pay your dues if you wanna play the blues. It’s every bit as much the notes you don’t play as it is the notes you play. Bend that note like it hurts. Make a face to prove it.

E and A are the keys that work best, followed closely by B. Throw in more triplets. Learn some chords with sixes, nines, and elevens in them. Bending the G and B strings together has more blues in its pinky finger than most people can ever hope to attain. Speaking of that pinky, figure out how to use it to trill notes over the top of some of those chords you’re using. There is no note that cannot be bent, just don’t stop until it’s in the right spot. There is no replacement for the art of the bend. With the right bend, you can have quite a range of feeling… a gentle caress, a moan, a scream, grab it by the neck and shake it until the change comes out of its pockets, ease it back down, a dizzying wobble, resounding in piercing feedback… all without taking your finger off of one single fret.

If that last sentence didn’t make sense, you have NO RIGHT to play the blues.

I’ll leave you on this note. In blues more than anywhere else, stealing music is accepted. Not only accepted, but embraced and encouraged. Not from any one source directly, so much, but little pieces of things here and there that when combined, continue the blues tradition. So take some of your favorite musicians, and learn some of their songs and riffs, that it might show up indirectly in your playing.

How long does it take to learn Guitar?

Author: admin  //  Category: Learn Guitar

I used to take guitar lessons but my teacher never showed up. Is there any special program someone used to learn guitar, like a Cd or online?
And how long does it take to master the guitar? I really want to learn, but i want something fast, easy, and non-exspenisve.

Its gonna take a long time. There will even be times when you think you suck. I personally just learned to teach myself. I even found videos on youtube that helped me get started. You should not have to pay anything.
