I want to ask for an acoustic guitar for Christmas, but, I don’t know how to play it. So, I was just wondering how you guys learned to play guitar?
Did you learn it yourself? Is it possible to learn it yourself?
Or, did you take lessons?
Oh, and, at what age did you first start to play it?
i taught guitar for a few years. and is is what i learnt. ay age, any learing pace… but if u dont connect with your teacher then you are better off learning on your own. Many teachers want kids to know notes fist but i think to learn you should have fun. So learn chourds to a song you like. once you have fun thenlearn the boaring stuff so you know the structure of guitar. any queastions email me
If there is some really great model that’s a bit more expensive but a much better buy that would be helpful too. Basically, I just want a solid guitar that will last me a while.
The best bang for you buck would be a guitar from the Ibanez RG Series. I have an Ibanez RG5, which i paid $500 for and it is by far the most amazing tone i have heard. It has the Wizard 2 Pro neck which allows great climbing up and down. It is also equiped with an Ibanez Floating Tremolo (Floyd Rose). The only downfall of this guitar is it is a ***** to tune until you get the hang of it.

Low to high for standard tuning is EADGBE. Open tunings can be tuned to open E chord or D or others.
