Is it better to learn to play guitar on an acoustic or electric?

I really want to learn to play guitar. I like acoustic, but I think i would have more fun with an electric because it’s not as linear as an acoustic. (i.e Sound affects, distortion, pedals etc). I just feel I can be more creative and have more fun learning on an electric but everyone tells me i should start with an acoustic. And if you don’t mind, recommend me some good beginner guitars.
All depends on the music you want to play.
I just went over the same question for myself a couple weeks ago.

What’s a good site for guitar tabs for beginners?

I know very little to none about playing, and I need a site that will take that into consideration(if that’s even possible. I don’t know). I’ve asked some of my friends (who are very good) how they started, and they said they looked up their favorite song and learned the chords for it and went from there. I’d like to take that approach…no boring lessons or lengthy instruction books — just sitting down and enjoying the music and learning. I’d love to play "Love Story" by Taylor Swift to start off. (Even if it’s harder.)

I want to get a bass guitar so I can learn to play it, but I need to know how much they cost
My recommendation for beginners is the Squier Vintage Modified or Classic Vibe series basses, I think they run from about $250-$300 or so. Great basses for the money and should last you a long time,
I would love to get some bitchen blues guitar tabs.
