My harmonics sound like shit…..any tips?!?!?!?!??!?!?!? I’m barring it all and the notes are coming out clear. It just doesn’t sound the same as everyone else’s Would love some help with that.

i sure bet you had …
i sure bet you had a heck of a time tuning that 12 string to open e wow i can play this song in standard and know what your talking about but i dont see any reason in open e tune for 1 song since this is the only song ive ran across in open e in my playing style! props on the tuning!

what you have to do …
what you have to do is put a finger (i do it with my ring finger) very lightly ON the fret, the place where the fret wire is. You’ll get a perfect sound.

If you still dont get a perfect sound, then i think that your guitar is not correctly tuned to the open E tuning. Try re-tuning it.

thanks for helping but that wasn’t the problem. I did figure it out though. I feel like an idiot. I was pressing down on the strings.

Tune your guitar low to high:
E B E G# B E
You will get the right sound in that tuning…
