What the heck do you play over a major 7th chord. Major scales won’t work because the b7 will not work with the 7. Pentatonic major doesn’t have a b7 either :S What to do?

That progression …
That progression rocks. If you can’t quite manage it at first, just play the first 3 notes of each chord (thus you are substituing every 9 chord for a 3-note version of a 7 chord. For instance, for G9 you’d play] x 10 9 10 x x ], for Ebmaj9 [ x 6 5 6 x x ], and so on. The C7 and Bb7 you must do the hard way though

When you play the -C Am Dm G7- chords with an Eighth notes strumming 8:55 do you use an open strings strum between the chords changing ???
