Can anyone learn to play the guitar or is it one of those things your either born with or your not?
Also, I spoke to a guitar teacher and told him I’m not really interested in learning music and stuff, I just wnat to learn a few songs to jam to and have some fun with, I’m hoping as I learn a few songs I’ll develope a better ear adn pick some things up heere and there. This guy said some of the guys who enjoy playing the most are guys who only know 3 or 4 chords but just have fun with it, do you agree?
I’d like to learn to play some Jack Jonson stuff, Hank Williams, Charlie Daniels
I totally agree, guitar is fairly easy to play competently, much easier than most woodwind instruments. I highly reccomend learning at least some basic music theory, it does make it easier to learn other stuff. but yeah, have fun with it!

Sorry but most guitar players have at least 6 fingers on at least one of their hands….if you don’t have at least eleven fingers you are out of luck!
